About Vicki Sharp Photography
For over 13 years, Vicki Sharp has been capturing moments and creating wonderful memories for her many, varied clients. She has a warm and infectious enthusiasm and an innate ability to make everyone relax. Whether it’s a family shoot, a wedding celebration, corporate headshots or pets, Vicki will make sure that everyone truly enjoys the photography experience.
Vicki’s love of photography really began when she travelled across SE Asia and India when she was 18. She bought her first SLR camera in Singapore and this treasured possession happily accompanied her across many more long-haul trips and through her university years, where she joined the Photography Club and won her first competition.
After graduating university with an Honours degree in Anthropology and a stint travelling as yacht crew & varnisher, Vicki embarked on a successful career in TV and feature films, working in production and special effects. Her career included working with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp on ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Charlie & the Chocolate Factory’ and several years in the prestigious role of Head of Ealing Film Studios, a hugely challenging position she loved.
Following the arrival of her second son, Vicki took a step back from the world of TV & Film. However, it didn’t take long before she was itching to be working creatively again. It was then that she decided to rekindle her relationship with her first love, photography, and so Vicki Sharp Photography was born.
Vicki has always enjoyed photographing a variety of subjects and therefore never wanted to pigeonhole herself to one photography genre. She gets as much joy from shooting children and pets, as setting up a product shot or attending a corporate event. Weddings are a speciality and clients are always thrilled by both the stunning formal marriage shots and the fun, informal reportage images that she captures by blending seamlessly into the reception and party.
Vicki thrives in her work and her clients love her too. Many return for further shoots and refer her to friends and colleagues. Industry professionals have also been impressed – with awards including Highly Commended in the ‘Best Customer Service’ category at the prestigious Richmond Business Awards 2016 and Highly Commended in the ‘Documentary’ category from the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers 2020.

Vicki lives in Richmond, South West London, with her husband and two sons. When not working, she can often be found tramping, in all weathers, with her scruffy Miniature Schnauzer, Skye.
