About Vicki Sharp Photography

Vicki Sharp Photography, based in Richmond, Surrey specialises in weddings, portraits (studio and location, family, pet, boudoir and corporate), sports, school, event and product photography.

The variety of subjects photographed are all a natural extension of Vicki's ability to adapt quickly and mix comfortably and happily with people of all ages and backgrounds. At a wedding Vicki can as easily disappear into the crowd whilst taking reportage-style shots as organise 200 people to be in the same place, at the same time, looking in the same direction and laughing!

Vicki's love of photography began seriously at the age of 18 when travelling across SE Asia and India. Her first treasured SLR camera, purchased in Singapore, lasted for several long haul trips over the following years and through university, where she joined the Photography Club and won her first competition.

Photography took a back seat whilst a successful career in TV and feature films flourished. Vicki was the Head of Ealing Film Studios for 2.5 years, as well as working consistently in film and TV production and Special Effects.

It was only after the birth of her second son that she realised that a change in direction was needed and she returned to her early love of photography.

For corporate and family portraits Vicki has a portable studio which she can bring to your home or office.  This is invaluable both for a company giving consistent portraits with minimal working time lost and far less organisation required and for families - no travelling, access to changes of outfit, children at ease, food available!  It's very relaxed and friendly!

Vicki's natural ability to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, to positively enjoy being photographed (honestly!), results in pictures that capture the true essence of the subject.

Finally, Vicki's post production editing skills are well honed and any temporary blemish or distraction can be subtly removed.   She will always make you look your natural best.  Comments on the results are 'You look amazing!" not "You look Photoshopped!".
